Rachel Taylor was present last week at WonderCon 2008 in San Francisco. The Movie Reporter was also there and had a short video interview with Rachael. When asked if you would return for the second movie, her response was an unsure “I doubt it”. I think they should give more roles for Rachael or more scenes in the movie. What do you think?

Shutter, slated for release March 21, is a remake of the 2004 Thai film of the same name. Newlyweds Ben (Joshua Jackson) and Jane (Rachael Taylor) move to Japan and run over some poor girl. “Eerie” phenomena start happening; is that a ghost in that photograph, or a thumbprint? As Jane struggles to find the origin of these thumbprints, she discovers a horrible secret about Ben’s past.*
There, I said it. You don’t need to watch the movie now. Thanks to WonderCon, I have saved Underwire readers 10 bucks and a little time.
PARK CITY, Utah (Hollywood Reporter) - When a film opens with the title “Based on a true story,” one wonders if the filmmakers are trying to bolster a flimsy premise with claims of authenticity.
But “Bottle Shock,” which had its world premiere at Sundance, enshrines an irresistible story that happens to be (mainly) true. It takes place in 1976, the year of the American Bicentennial, and in these cynical times, it is nice to be reminded of an American victory that is actually worth celebrating. This might not have been a momentous world achievement, but it was a gratifying victory all the same.
